Spaghetti casserole with minced meat and peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • Herbs, Italian, mixed
  • pepper
  • 150 g peas (frozen)
  • butter
  • 200g mozzarella
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • 2 eggs
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 20 g butter, in flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water. Fry the chopped onion and crushed garlic in oil until translucent. Add the minced meat, herbs, and peas, and season with salt and pepper. Whisk together the cream, eggs, and paprika, and season with salt. Dice the mozzarella. In a lightly greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta, half of the mozzarella, the entire minced meat mixture, the remaining pasta, the remaining mozzarella, and the egg-cream mixture. Sprinkle a few knobs of butter over the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 45 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil toward the end.
