Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 250 g ham, cooked, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, freshly squeezed
  • 250 g cheese (butter cheese or Gouda), diced
  • 1 cucumber(s), green, diced
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup(s) vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 pack of herbs (garden herbs), fresh or frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti and place it in a large bowl. Add the sliced ​​ham, cheese, onions, green cucumber, and garlic, and toss to combine. If desired, you can also add 2-3 diced tomatoes in addition to the cucumber. For the sauce, stir in the crème fraîche, cream, and herbs. Mix with a large coffee mug full of hearty vegetable stock. Chill. Let stand for 1 hour. Before serving, add more fresh vegetable stock (you can mix it cold), as the spaghetti will absorb almost all of its liquid over time. Serve with onion bread or flatbread.
