Spaghetti with dates and Serrano ham

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of spaghetti or tagliatelle
  • ½ pack of dates, dried
  • 1 pack of ham (Serrano), 80 or 100 g
  • some oil (sunflower)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the noodles in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, dice the dates and chop the ham into small pieces. Drain the noodles. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the diced dates and ham pieces, and fry. Then add the noodles and fry. Brown to your liking, but be careful not to burn the dates. Season with salt and pepper. Tip: You can also add a more oriental flavor, such as cinnamon, cardamom, coriander powder, or something similar. One of my friends swears by a little Fondor, for example.
