Spaghetti with Fruits from the Sea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg mixed mussels (clams, mussels)
  • 200 g crabs, fresh
  • squid(s), some small
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • Salt and pepper, adM
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brush and wash the mussels thoroughly, discarding any open ones. Remove the crabs from their shells and slice the cleaned squid into thin rings. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large casserole dish and add the dripping wet mussels. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes, shaking the dish occasionally, then remove the mussel meat from the shells. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, heat the remaining oil in a large, deep-sided frying pan and sauté the chopped garlic clove. Add the seafood and simmer over low heat for 4-5 minutes. Drizzle the seafood sauce with lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley. Drain the spaghetti well and add it to the pan with the seafood. Mix thoroughly and season with pepper.
