Spaghetti with ham, leek, and cheese cream sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 750g spaghetti
  • 3 stalk(s) leeks
  • 400 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cream cheese spread (alternatively light cheese spread)
  • ½ liter cream (alternatively low-fat milk)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the leek and slice into thin rings. Cut the cooked ham into strips. Sauté both in a pot or pan over medium heat until translucent. Then pour in the cream and simmer on low heat until creamy. Finally, stir the cream cheese into the sauce with a spoon and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Arrange both on plates and serve.
