Spaghetti with minced meat and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 2 stalk(s) leek, (approx. 375 g)
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • 400 ml soup
  • 125 ml coffee cream
  • 125 g cream cheese spread (Eckerlkäse)
  • Sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water with 1 tablespoon of oil until al dente. Drain well. Trim and wash the leeks, then finely slice them. Brown the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly, season. Briefly fry the leeks. Stir in the soup, bring to a boil, and add the cream. Simmer the sauce for about 2 minutes. Melt the cheese flakes into the sauce while stirring. Bring back to a boil, thicken, and season to taste. Serve with spaghetti. Other pasta options, such as farfalle, spiral pasta, or penne, can also be used.
