Spanish Crostada

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g sheep’s cheese
  • 10 ml white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 4 slices of baguette
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

White bread baked with feta cheese

Crumble the feta cheese and mix it with the white wine until smooth. Season with salt and pepper, add the oregano, and garlic. Drizzle the bread with olive oil and spread the cheese mixture. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the crostada. Bake in the oven at 250°C (480°F) for about 3 minutes and sprinkle with parsley.
