Spanish sausage ragout

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp paprika powder, mild
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • 2 sachets of sauce powder (gravy)
  • ½ liter of warm water
  • 4 pairs of sausages (Wiener or juicy sausages)
  • e.g. sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the onions and bell peppers and sauté in oil. Stir in the bell peppers and tomato paste and add the chopped sausages. Add the mixed sauce mix and let everything simmer gently for 10 minutes. If desired, add a few tablespoons of sour cream at the end. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes with a green salad.
