Spanish-style chicken breast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 300 g potatoes
  • 200 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 50 ml beer
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the chicken breast to taste. Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes. Peel the onions and slice them into rings, wash and slice the mushrooms. Wash and dice the tomatoes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Place the vegetables in a bowl, season well, and mix well. Place the vegetables in a covered casserole dish (e.g., the “good old” ones from Jenaer Glas). Place the seasoned chicken breast on top or in between. Now pour the 50 ml of beer over the entire mixture (drink the rest of the bottle yourself). Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. After this time, turn everything over and return to the oven for another 30 minutes.
