Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g ketchup
  • 300 g onion(s), diced
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 330 ml Coca-Cola
  • 5 g smoked cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

easy to make, but very tasty

Sauté the onion in rapeseed oil until translucent. Add the sugar and caramelize. Deglaze with cola and reduce by half. Top up with vegetable stock (preferably freshly cooked, not instant). Add the ketchup and let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes. Blend everything until smooth and season with smoked sugar.
