Spätzle casserole with turkey strips

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of spaetzle (ready-made product from the refrigerated section)
  • 3 turkey schnitzels, marinated
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 150 ml cream
  • 150 g sour cream
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fry the spaetzle in a pan with a little oil. Remove from the pan and place in a casserole dish. Cut the turkey schnitzel into strips and also fry them all over in the pan. Place them on top of the spaetzle. Use the cream to deglaze the pan. Stir in the sour cream and let everything simmer slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and pour the sauce over the spaetzle and turkey strips in the dish. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese and place it in the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C. A fresh salad goes perfectly with this.
