Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g speculatius biscuits, crumbled
  • 100 g chocolate, grated
  • 100 g brittle
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 g vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 400 ml cream

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

quick, easy and delicious winter dessert, easy to prepare

Combine the egg yolks with vanilla sugar, apple juice, and cinnamon. Beat over a hot water bath until stiff, then chill. Combine the mixture with the chocolate shavings, the brittle, and the crumbled speculatius biscuits. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Pour the speculatius biscuit mixture into any dish or divide it into small silicone molds and freeze at least overnight. It goes perfectly with hot prunes or a hot baked apple. It’s also delicious with waffles.
