Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour
  • 20 g yeast
  • 350 ml mineral water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit). Crumble the yeast and mix with the salt until liquid. Add the liquid yeast to the flour, mineral water, and honey and knead into a dough using a whisk fitted with a dough hook. Cover the bowl with a towel and place in the oven for 20 minutes. Place the dough on a floured surface, knead thoroughly, and form into a ball. Place the ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 60 minutes.
