Spelt Buckwheat Bread
The perfect spelt buckwheat bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Spelled flour type 1050
- 100 g Buckwheat flour
- 2 tsp Fine sea salt
- 3 tbsp Grains to taste
- 3 tbsp Herb vinegar
- 500 ml Lukewarm water
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- I baked this bread twice. Once with the specified ingredients, and then again for taste test purposes with half buckwheat and half spelled flour. The latter is even stronger in taste.
- Mix the flour, yeast, grains and salt well. Add vinegar and lukewarm water and stir everything into a paste.
- Put the dough in a bread pan, cover and let it rest for approx. 2 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top / bottom heat and bake the bread on the second rack from the bottom for approx. 60 times.
