Spelt-nut Bundt cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 220 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g walnuts, grated
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 120 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and rum until fluffy. Gradually beat in the egg yolks. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the mixture alternately with the grated walnuts and milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold in the chopped walnuts. Grease and flour a Bundt pan and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 50–60 minutes. Let the Bundt pan cool, then turn it out and decorate with hazelnut chocolate glaze and halved walnuts.
