Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 9 minutes; Total time approx. 59 minutes

according to my boss’s mom, makes two trays

The butter should be nice and soft. Mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, and butter well. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the mixture. Finally, fold in the oats. Set the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and then place the dough in small portions onto baking paper or a greased baking tray. I like to use two spoons to flatten the lump of dough a little. The dough will spread slightly in the oven and thus take on an even more round shape. Make sure there is enough space between them and that they are a manageable size. Bake the cookies on the middle rack for about 9 minutes. When the cookies turn slightly brown on the outside, they are done. For me, it takes about 9 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely on the baking tray and do not move them, as they may crumble.
