Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cup(s) vegetable oil
- 2 cup(s) apples, grated
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 1 ½ cup(s) instant oats
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp clove powder
- 80 g almonds, chopped
- some almonds (halves) for garnishing
- Fat for the mold
- possibly powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Mug cake
Use a regular coffee cup for measuring. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Combine all ingredients to make a light and fluffy batter. Pour the batter into a greased 26cm springform pan, decorate with the almond halves, and bake on the middle rack for about 60-70 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan only after it has cooled completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
