Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper if you want it a bit hotter, otherwise sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 garlic clove(s), fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

e.g. for fillet

Combine the dry ingredients. Press in the fresh garlic clove and mix everything well. Then rub the mixture all over the piece of meat—approx. 500 g, e.g., pork or beef fillet—and let it marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Then smoke the meat on the grill to taste.
