Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g plums, halved, pitted
- 5 tsp brown sugar
- 1 cardamom pod(s) (or 2), green, broken open, seeds ground

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 34 minutes
Mix the plums with sugar, let them draw their juice for 10 minutes, then bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes over low heat. Season with cardamom and let cool.
