Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g salami, spicy
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200 ml chicken broth
- 100 ml cream or cooking cream
- 200 g pasta, small (e.g. fusilli)
- 200 g cheese (e.g. Emmental), grated
- 2 spring onions
- 1 tbsp oil
- possibly pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Heat the oil in a pan. Cut the sausage into thin slices (cut them further depending on the diameter) and fry them in the hot fat until crisp. Finely chop the onion and add it to the sausage. Continue frying over low heat until the onion has browned slightly. Then add the garlic (crushed is fine) and heat briefly. Deglaze with the chicken stock and add the uncooked pasta to the pan. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then stir in the cream. Immediately add a little cheese and let it sit on the stove for a while, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Add pepper if desired. Now pour the mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and bake at 150°C for a good 10 minutes. Meanwhile, chop the spring onion. As soon as the cheese browns, add the spring onion to the cheese and return it to the oven for about another 10 minutes.
