Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes, waxy, preferably larger
  • 2 tbsp oil, preferably olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Homemade fast food

Preheat oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Then dry them thoroughly. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and then cut each half into thick slices. In a bowl, combine the oil and salt, add the potatoes, and mix well. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cook in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream, a quark dip, or tzatziki.
