Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g peanuts, roasted fat-free
- 4 ml water
- 4 ml sweetener, liquid
- Chili powder (Habanero pepper or Bih Jolokia powder)
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes
Spread the peanuts evenly on a large, flat plate. Combine the water and sweetener, spread evenly over the peanuts, and mix thoroughly until all the nuts are slightly moistened. Add habanero powder (amount to taste), perhaps as much as you would if salting the nuts. Microwave the peanuts at maximum power for about 2-3 minutes. Remove after 1 minute and stir, as they tend to stick together. Do not inhale directly above the plate—the fumes can be very irritating to the respiratory system.
