Spicy Leek Soup

The perfect spicy leek soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Kasslernacken
  • 800 g Leek
  • 300 g Celery
  • 600 g Potatoes
  • Salt pepper
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 2 cm Ginger
  • 200 ml White wine
  • 1,5 l Vegetable broth
  • 1 Can Peeled tomatoes
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into small cubes, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the meat in it until brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and stir with the meat.
  4. Add the stock and white wine.
  5. In the meantime, clean the leek and cut into rings. Chop the celery, dice the potatoes and add everything, cook for about 30 minutes over a medium heat.
  6. Approx. Add the chopped ginger and garlic 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
