Spicy meat strips

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g turkey or chicken
  • 1 bell pepper(s), orange or yellow
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 cocktail tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 150 ml red wine, semi-dry or dry
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into thin strips (approx. 1 x 5 cm). Clean the peppers, onions, and garlic. Finely dice the garlic cloves and finely slice the peppers and onions. Quarter the tomatoes. Heat a little oil in a pan, add the meat strips, mix with the spices, and fry. Add the peppers, onions, and garlic and fry until no juices remain. Add the red wine and tomatoes and reduce everything until only a thin layer of liquid remains at the bottom; the meat will then have a reddish brown color. Season to taste and serve hot or cold with baguette or rice!
