Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 150 ml ketchup
  • 2 tsp chili sauce (jalapeño sauce)
  • oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a little oil, preferably in a large pot. Just before it’s cooked through, season with pepper, salt, basil, and paprika. Meanwhile, dice the bell peppers and finely chop the spring onions, add to the minced meat, and sizzle for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato paste and ketchup. Add 1-2 teaspoons of jalapeño sauce, if desired; this amount is very mild. Mix everything well and simmer for another 2 minutes over medium heat. Serve with rice or noodles and enjoy.
