Spicy Mozzarella Filled
The perfect spicy mozzarella filled recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Side dishes
- 20 piece Olives
- 10 piece Tomatoes pickled in oil
- 10 piece Dried apricots
- 30 slices Mixed with bacon, sliced
- Melted tomatoes
- Tomato and Olive Bread

- 1 …. to tuscanine … the basic idea for my 555th recipe is from her … and i can only warmly recommend the recipe to all mozzarella fans
Prepare the mozzarella
- Cut the mozzarella balls in the middle and hollow them out with a coffee spoon – cut the hollowed out mozzarella remains into small cubes
savory filling
- Cut olives, pickled tomatoes and dried apricots into small cubes and mix with the diced mozzarella remains – season with a pinch of salt and pepper
completion
- Pour some of the savory filling into both halves of the mozzarella – then put the 2 halves back together again – place a slice of bacon horizontally around it like a belt – place 4 slices of bacon in a star shape and place the mozzarella ball on top – now fold the bacon slices up one after the other to keep the mozzarella taut enclose
Grill
- fry the mozzarella balls in a teflon pan without adding any fat (do not fry too long, otherwise the mozzarella will melt too much!)
serve and decorate
- I served the mozzarella balls with various antipasti, melted tomatoes (rec. In my kb) and a tomato-olive bread (rec. In my cookbook)
