Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g flour
- ½ cube of yeast
- 500 ml water, lukewarm
- 200 g onion(s)
- 1 tbsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp herbs de Provence
- 2 tbsp parsley, dried
- 1 tbsp savory, dried
- 1 tbsp dill, dried
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp margarine
- Flour and margarine for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
with garlic and herbs, very tasty
Put the flour in a bowl, make a small well in the center, crumble in the fresh yeast, and add the sugar and 100 ml of warm water. Let the starter dough rise for about 5 minutes, then mix everything with a mixer, add the remaining water, and mix everything together for about 5 minutes. Dice the onions and fry them in a little margarine until translucent, then let it cool slightly. Stir the onions, herbs, garlic, and salt into the batter. Grease and flour the baking pan and pour in the batter (the batter will be quite runny). Let the dough rise in the pan for about 30 minutes. Then place it in the preheated oven and bake at 180°C for about one hour. When the bread is golden brown, remove it and let it cool.
