Shrimp with garlic, oil and chili sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 dried red chili peppers, pitted and crushed
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g king prawns, raw, unpeeled
  • e.g. sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Spicy prawns

Deseed and crumble the dried chilies. Crush the garlic. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the garlic and chilies and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the shrimp and sea salt to taste. Fry the shrimp vigorously for 2 minutes, turning frequently. Serve the shrimp on warmed serving plates. Serve with good bread to soak up the sauce.
