Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 small can of tuna in its own juice
- 1 tomato(s)
- 1 small onion(s) or half a
- 1 tbsp olive oil or 2, alternatively a tbsp linseed oil is also very healthy
- 1 egg(s), boiled
- ½ bunch chives, fresh
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Low in fat, high in protein and good to take with you
Drain the tuna and place it in a suitable bowl. Dice the onion, cut the tomato into bite-sized pieces, and add it to the bowl. Add the oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly and let it sit for a few minutes. Then fold in the fresh chives and garnish with the boiled egg. You can eat it straight from the bowl, or serve it on small slices of kohlrabi or something similar (raw or cooked until al dente) and serve it as a snack. I really like this salad because it’s not so runny/oily/mushy, yet it’s still nicely flavorful.
