The incredibly simple and fresh tuna salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and mayonnaise

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 large gherkins
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise (salad mayonnaise), more if needed
  • ½ can peas, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the stemmed tomatoes into medium-sized cubes. Cut the gherkins and Gouda cheese into small cubes. Shred the tuna. If desired, add ½ can of peas. Mix with the salad mayonnaise. Serve on toasted white bread or fresh or toasted baguette. Tip: You can also make the salad without cheese or just with cucumbers and/or tomatoes, tuna, and mayonnaise.
