Spicy tuna bread

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 white bread stick(s) or wholegrain baguette
  • 2 cans of tuna, plain or in oil (185 g each)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 50 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some parsley
  • some paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the bread lengthwise and hollow out the meat. Crush the breadcrumbs and add to the milk. Drain the tuna and shred it. Grate the cheese. Separate the egg and mix the egg yolk, cheese, some chopped parsley, and seasoning. Add to the bread and milk mixture and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. First, fill the bread halves with the fish and spread the bread mixture over the fish. Grill for about 15 minutes, checking the temperature regularly. Depending on the rack height, the grill time may be slightly longer or shorter.
