Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slices of toast (double the amount for sandwiches)
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- pepper
- some margarine
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Spread the slices of toast (whole-wheat toast is fine, too) with a little margarine, if desired. Wash the tomatoes and bell pepper, chop them as finely as possible, and mix them with the tuna. Season with pepper to taste. Distribute the tomatoes among the slices of toast and, if you like, add an extra slice to top each slice. Bake in a preheated oven (or in a toast broiler). I recommend serving with a green salad.
