Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 rolls (hamburger buns)
- 4 pork schnitzels or turkey schnitzels
- 1 tomato(s)
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 egg(s)
- breadcrumbs
- some mayonnaise
- some yogurt
- salt and pepper
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Clean and wash the vegetables and lettuce. Dip the schnitzel in the beaten egg, coat in breadcrumbs, and fry in oil. Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise and yogurt together, stir in the finely chopped cucumber and diced bell pepper, and season with pepper and, if desired, a little salt. Slice the tomato and wash the lettuce. Bake the rolls in the oven at 200°C for about 5-8 minutes. Then cut them open. Cover the bottom half with a lettuce leaf, then top with the tomato, a little sauce, the schnitzel, and, if desired, a little more sauce. Cover with the top half of the roll.
