Spinach and walnut spread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g spinach, frozen, e.g. seasoned spinach, thawed
  • 20 g walnuts
  • 20 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • e.g. linseed oil or other oil
  • possibly agave syrup
  • possibly tahini

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Using a hand blender, puree the spinach, walnuts, and sunflower seeds. Add a little water or oil if desired. Stir in the remaining ingredients and season to taste. If you like sesame, you can add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of tahini. I ate the spread with whole-grain bread. It was used up after a week (stored in the refrigerator).
