Pelmeni with salmon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 ml water
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • Oil or butter
  • 150 g salmon fillet(s), smoked
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream for serving

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 51 minutes

For the dough, put the egg and water in a bowl and mix with a whisk. Gradually add the flour until you can knead it. When the dough no longer sticks to your hands, you can roll it out thinly and cut out 5 cm circles. For the filling, peel and chop the onion and sauté it in oil or butter. Finely chop the salmon fillets. Place both in a bowl, mix with the cream cheese and season with salt and pepper. Place the filling in the center of the circles, fold them into pockets and press the edges down. Then place the pelmeni in boiling water and wait until they float to the surface. The pelmeni are now ready and can be served with sour cream.
