Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 50 g spinach, chopped
- 1 red chili pepper(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 tbsp cream
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- e.g. olive oil

A spiced-up version of a classic – devilishly good!
Wash the chilies, remove the seeds, and finely chop. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Whisk the eggs and cream in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Heat a large pan with olive oil and fry the chilies and garlic over medium heat for 1 minute. Then add the egg mixture to the pan. After about 2 minutes, spread the spinach over the omelet. Cover the pan and let the contents set for another 3-5 minutes over low heat. Remove the omelet from the pan and enjoy immediately. Serve with fresh bread or baguette. Tip: Dried chilies can be used instead of fresh chilies.
