Spinach Philadelphia sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 point creamed spinach
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 150 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • butter
  • possibly cream or milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic, dice them into small cubes, and sauté them in a little butter until translucent. Add the frozen spinach and thaw over low heat. Add the milk and cream cheese, stir until the cheese is dissolved, and bring to a boil. Finally, season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Depending on the desired consistency, you can add a little more milk or cream. Serve with pasta.
