Spinach sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of creamed spinach (450 g each)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Maggi
  • Broth, clear
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onions and garlic and fry in a little hot oil. Then add the creamed spinach and simmer over medium heat until it has completely thawed in the pan and is hot. Then pour in the cream. Crumble the feta cheese and add it to the pan, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Finally, add the processed cheese to the pan and cook until it has completely dissolved. Finally, season to taste with pepper, salt, Maggi, and clear stock. Pasta goes well with this dish. Tip: If you don’t want it vegetarian, you can easily add king prawns or cooked ham.
