Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 package smoked tofu
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 300 ml tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 dash of soy sauce
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- pepper
- possibly herbs, Italian
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Finely chop the onions and cook over low heat with a little oil until soft. Mash the smoked tofu with the back of a fork. Add the smoked tofu to the onions and fry for 5 minutes. Then deglaze with soy sauce. Add tomato paste, strained tomatoes, and a little sugar. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly, then season with pepper and Italian herbs, if desired.
