Spinach Waffles with Dip

The perfect spinach waffles with dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

waffle dough

  • 400 g Creamed spinach
  • 100 g Butter, soft
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 ml Low fat milk
  • 100 g Grated Emmental
  • 2 Pinches Nutmeg, ground
  • Salt pepper

Dip

  • 200 g Cream cheese 3.5% fat
  • 4 tbsp Ajvar
  • Salt pepper
  1. waffle batter

– Spinat auftauen lassen – Butter schaumig schlagen – Eier dazu und verrühren – Mehl, Backpulver, aufgetauten Spinat, Milch, ger. Käse unterheben – Teig mit Salz, Pfeffer, Muskat würzen In einem gefetteten Waffeleisen nacheinander ca. 8 Waffeln ausbacken (Menge unterschiedlich je nach Größe des Waffeleisens und Menge an Teig für eine Portion)

  1. Dip

Mix the cream cheese and ajvar and season with salt and pepper. Depending on the heat, use more or less ajvar. And serve with the waffles.
