Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg roast pork (rolled roast or spit roast)
  • 10 rolls
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of paprika powder
  • 2 pinches of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Total time approx. 15 hours

an electric rotisserie for the gas grill is required

Season the meat inside and rub it with garlic. Remove any strings from the roast and place it on the worktop. Spread the garlic slices, salt, pepper, and paprika over the spread-out roast. Then roll the roast up again and tie it with kitchen string. Wrap the rolled roast in cling film and leave it in the refrigerator overnight. Before grilling, skewer the roast lengthwise and secure it. Hang the roast over the free gas spiral of the grill (remove the grill rack) and let it sizzle for 2.5 hours. Remove the finished roast from the grill, slice it, place it on the sliced ​​bread rolls, and serve. Tip: Serve with wheat beer.
