Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g margarine or butter
- 125 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ pack of baking powder
- Milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
for loaf pan approx. 25 cm
Cream margarine or butter until fluffy, then gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar, salt, and eggs and mix. Add flour and baking powder a tablespoon at a time and mix. If the batter becomes too stiff, thin it with a little milk. Bake in the oven at 175-200 degrees Celsius for about 75-90 minutes. The batter can be modified as desired. For example, add cocoa powder to 1/3 of the batter to make a marble cake. Or lemon flavoring and lemon glaze… the sky’s the limit.
