- 100 g butter, soft
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 2 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 liter meat broth
- 1 bunch of chives

In a tall, narrow mixing bowl, cream the soft butter with salt, nutmeg, and pepper until fluffy. Add the eggs and flour and beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until creamy. Using a spoon dipped in the hot broth, scoop out small dumplings from the butter-flour mixture. Let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the chopped chives over the soup before serving.
