Spread: Crema Di Gorgonzola (Friuli)
The perfect spread: crema di gorgonzola (friuli) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Gorgonzola
- 100 g Mascarpone
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 1 piece Spring onion
- 2 piece Anchovy fillets in brine
- 1 tablespoon Capers
- 1 pinch Caraway powder
- 0,5 teaspoon Sweet paprika powder
- 0,5 teaspoon Mustard medium hot
- 0,5 teaspoon Sugar
- Salt and pepper
- Peel and chop the onion and spring onion.
- Chop the gorgonzola or mash it with a galbel and stir with the onions.
- Puree the mascarpone with the spices, anchovy fillets, mustard and capers and mix with the Gorgonzola. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
- This cream is a hit with fresh white bread and leftovers are excellent for making sauces.
