Spread: Toughened Apple Lard
The perfect spread: toughened apple lard recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Bacon white
- 3 piece Apples
- 2 piece Fresh onions
- 2 Branches Rosemary fresh
- 1 piece Chilli pepper, red and dried
- Salt and pepper
- Remove the rind from the bacon and cut into small cubes.
- Peel the apples and onions, core and deworm the apples and also dice both.
- Fry everything together in a pan until the bacon is left out, the onions are brown and the apples are gone.
- Puree this mass, mix with the chopped fresh rosemary and the chopped chilli pepper.
- Season with salt and pepper and fill into glasses.
- Use with fresh bread or to season sauces or similar.
- The mass doesn’t look exactly appetizing, but it tastes really good.
