Spread: Toughened Apple Lard

The perfect spread: toughened apple lard recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Bacon white
  • 3 piece Apples
  • 2 piece Fresh onions
  • 2 Branches Rosemary fresh
  • 1 piece Chilli pepper, red and dried
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Remove the rind from the bacon and cut into small cubes.
  2. Peel the apples and onions, core and deworm the apples and also dice both.
  3. Fry everything together in a pan until the bacon is left out, the onions are brown and the apples are gone.
  4. Puree this mass, mix with the chopped fresh rosemary and the chopped chilli pepper.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and fill into glasses.
  6. Use with fresh bread or to season sauces or similar.
  7. The mass doesn’t look exactly appetizing, but it tastes really good.
