Spring-fresh sausage salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g sausage (beer ham)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • some lemon juice and white wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground white
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 6 lettuce leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the ham into strips. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Wash the cucumber and slice it. For the marinade, combine the lemon juice and vinegar with the oil and spices. Place all the salad ingredients in a bowl and pour the marinade over them. Let it sit for about 30-40 minutes. Line a platter with lettuce leaves and place the lettuce on top.
