Ingredients
 

  • 1 Goose
  • 3 Apples
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Hanvoll Raisins
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dried marjoram
  • Dried mugwort

Instructions
 

  • Rub the goose vigorously inside and out with salt, pepper, marjoram and mugwort.
  • Peel and dice the onions, peel the apples, remove the core and also dice, stuff everything with the raisins into the goose and place them in a roast goose.
  • Douse the goose with the vegetable stock, close the lid and put it in the preheated oven, cook at 250 ° C for about 1 hour, then switch the oven down to 80 ° and cook the goose for about 8 hours (in the meantime neither the roaster nor open the oven door) Then open the roaster lid, turn the oven up to 220 ° C and fry the goose for about 1 hour until crispy and brown.
  • Carve the goose and serve with potato dumplings, kale and red cabbage (see my KB).
