Steak with olive and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork steaks
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme
  • oregano
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 250 g pasta (shell)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 100 g black olives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Tie the meat into medallions with kitchen string and a little thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan. Sear the steaks on both sides. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Cook the pasta. Finely dice the onion and chop the garlic. Heat the fat. Sauté the onion and garlic in it. Dust with flour and sauté. Deglaze with the passata, stirring, and bring to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Add the olives to the sauce. Add the thyme and oregano. Bring to a boil. Serve the pasta with the meat and sauce.
