Steak with Roquefort sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g blue cheese Roquefort or other, diced
  • 1 small onion(s), diced
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • salt, pepper
  • 4 steaks
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fry the steaks in oil as usual and to your liking, then remove them from the pan and let them rest in the oven, wrapped in aluminum foil. Sauté the finely chopped onion in the pan, then add the Roquefort cubes and the crème fraîche, and melt over low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the steaks to plates, spoon the sauce on top, and serve. Serve with a green salad with walnuts, or with fries or baguette.
