Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 4 gherkins
- 2 onions
- 4 tbsp mustard
- Flour
- 4 pork steaks (neck or rump)
- Salt
- pepper
- possibly garlic
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the gherkins and onions and place them in a bowl. Beat in 4 eggs and add 4 tablespoons of mustard. Mix everything well. Season with salt and pepper, adding a little chopped garlic if desired. Thicken the breading with a little flour until it forms a thick paste. Coat the meat in this mixture and fry slowly in hot oil. Tip: If the breading comes off when turning, don’t panic. Simply add a little cucumber broth to the breading in the bowl, as the breading will contain too much flour.
